Wahl receives the coveted Presidential "E" Award for excellence.

Release of the ZeeCurl, a flat-barrel curling iron for stylists to create Z-shaped curls, revolutionising hair styling.

The organisation began manufacturing a full line of foot and back massagers.

Wahl pioneered another advancement with the development of the first clipper to feature a vacuum that picks up hair as it cuts – the Vac Clipper.

Recognising the worldwide demand, Wahl began exporting its first hair clippers to Canada.

Production was moved almost entirely internally at the Wahl factor, due to the installation in-house of plastic molding presses.

Leo J. Wahl patented the first electro magnetic hair clipper

Wahl’s Aero Clipper was certified for flight and used by NASA astronauts on the International Space Station.

Wahl acquires Moser, a German professional hair clippers manufacturer, to merge into a global personal care organisation.

Debut of one of Wahls fan-favourites - The Peanut, a powerful little trimmer at only four ounces.

Wahl had extended its range to include various professional and consumer products, extending from mirrors and ladies shavers to clippers and massagers.

Wahl introduces the innovative Groomsman, the world's first battery-operated facial hair trimmer.

1967

The first cordless and rechargeable battery-operated hair trimmer was created by Wahl.

The company developed and produced a unique flexible-blade electric razor that changed full-body grooming forever.

Wahl disrupts industry by developing the Silent Giant, large and powerful clipper that was quieter than ever competitors.
